Went there and it happened to be restaurant week. Ordered the prefixed menu. Got the food with medium spiciness. Everything was delicious and savory; highly recommend this place. Great service as well.

This place is truly exceptional! The food is authentic, fresh, and flavorful! The staff are all warm and attentive. I had the paneer tikka masala with the second highest spice level and a cup of chai; they were SO good! One person in my party ordered a dish I had never heard of before, laziz kofta, and it was really, really tasty! Upon trying it, we all wished we had ordered it. If you like Indian food or are just getting into it, this is the restaurant for you!

This was my first time trying Indian food, and it exceeded my expectations! I had the butter chicken (got spice level 1, could have gone up a level though). The spouse got the tandoori chicken, which was also delicious. We split a bread basket, which included 3 flavors of naan. Our entrees came with a large bowl of rice that they refilled for us once. Everything was delicious and portion sizes were great. We had reservations for 6:30 on a Saturday night. Our table was ready for us on time, but service was a little slow (our server did warn us in advance when we ordered our appetizers). It took an hour and a half to get our entrees, but everything was so fresh that we quickly forgot about the wait time. We'll definitely be back, but probably not at the busiest dinner hour on the weekend.

While on a business trip, I was craving some Indian food close to my hotel and stumbled upon Monsoon’s, located in a business section of Providence. The moment I walked in, I was struck by the upscale ambiance—it had a modern yet authentic Indian feel. The service here is excellent. I noticed a team-based approach where multiple staff members refilled my iced tea and water without me ever needing to ask. They were attentive without being overbearing, which I really appreciated. I started with the tandoori wings, and they were both visually impressive and flavorful—great way to kick off the meal! I also ordered garlic naan, and for the main course, I went with Chicken Tikka Masala (medium spice). The dish had just the right amount of heat to it! The presentation was fairly standard, but I liked how they served the rice and chicken separately, letting me control how much masala sauce I used. Overall, it was a delicious meal and a great experience. I’ll definitely be returning to Monsoon’s the next time I’m in town!

I will say, Indian cuisine is not typically my go to for food but this place was recommended and I now consider it a must try! We were not disappointed! My husband and I went for the lunch service and absolutely loved the aroma and taste of the food was fresh and nourishing! (The rice was a bit dry for my liking but the basmati rice paired well with the flavor of the curry/marsala dishes). The soup of the day was delicious and the naan that came with our meal was freshly made and still warm. We had quick and attentive service. The atmosphere was calm and clean. We left feeling like we got our money’s worth! We both would recommend giving this place for a try, we will definitely be coming back!

Very nice atmosphere, but still very casual. We each got a lassi and since it was our first visit we got some of our go to items to try for appetizers, crispy samosa chat and aloo paratha. We also tried the cauliflower and ginger soup (the soup was the only item we didn't love it wasn't bad, just compared to everything else it wasn't as flavorful). I tried the garlic paneer tikka masala and he had the Patiala Shahi Goat. We both enjoyed our choices. I also have to add I don't usually eat any rice with my dishes because I'm generally not a fan but the rice they brought out was really good. I tried some just to say I tried it and ended up having several spoonfuls with my meal. We'll definitely visit again. Service was on point and overall it was a great experience.

As a 1st time guest, my experience was exceptional. Having Indian food for the 1st time was enjoyable. My spice level was 2 and it was bearable. The ambiance was serene and relaxed. Pleasant staff, fresh food, well seasoned, fast service and the wait time wasn't long at all. The lamb chops were a hit
